Cloud infrastructure that holds under load.

CloudSphere is a cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering practice. We design delivery pipelines, run Kubernetes in production, and codify environments across AWS and Azure - for teams where downtime and cloud spend both carry a real number.

What we deliver

Cloud & DevOps engineering

End-to-end work across the cloud lifecycle - from the first pipeline to infrastructure that survives its third year in production.

01

CI/CD pipeline architecture

Complete delivery workflows on Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins and GitHub Actions - branching strategy, quality gates, artefact promotion and automated release management.

  • Azure DevOps
  • GitHub Actions
  • GitLab CI
  • Jenkins

02

Kubernetes & containers

EKS and AKS cluster design, GitOps delivery with ArgoCD, Helm chart authoring, and containerisation of existing applications - with the scaling and failure behaviour worked out before go-live.

  • Kubernetes
  • EKS / AKS
  • ArgoCD
  • Helm
  • Docker

03

Infrastructure as Code

Reproducible, version-controlled environments built with Terraform, Ansible and CloudFormation. Modular templates, remote state, and a review path so infrastructure changes go through the same rigour as application code.

  • Terraform
  • Ansible
  • CloudFormation

04

DevSecOps & security automation

Shift-left security wired into the pipeline - dependency and image scanning, IAM and RBAC hardening, compliance checks, and secrets handling that does not depend on people remembering.

  • OWASP
  • IAM / RBAC
  • Compliance
  • Shift-left

05

Monitoring & observability

Metrics, logs and traces that answer real questions - Prometheus, Grafana and the ELK stack, with SLO/SLI dashboards and alerting tuned so the on-call rotation stays survivable.

  • Prometheus
  • Grafana
  • ELK Stack
  • SLO / SLI

06

Migration & cost optimisation

Moving workloads onto AWS or Azure without a rewrite, then taking the bill apart line by line. Right-sizing, storage tiering, and removing the services nobody remembers switching on.

  • AWS
  • Azure
  • FinOps
  • Migration

Engagements are described by sector and outcome. Client names and specifics stay confidential unless we have written permission to share them.

Accessibility technology

United States

DevOps strategy and delivery platform for a US engineering team

We led the DevOps architecture for a distributed product team, replacing ad-hoc deployments with governed pipelines and building automation for a Microsoft Fabric data estate.

  • Complete CI/CD build-out on Azure DevOps, with team-wide branching standards, PR rules and quality gates
  • Automated deployment of Fabric workspaces, OneLake and Power BI assets through the REST APIs
  • In-house security scanning built to replace a SaaS scanner, cutting €500+ per month
  • Azure DevOps
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Power BI

Energy storage

Germany

Hybrid-cloud cost reduction across AWS and Azure

We took apart a production AWS estate that had grown organically, then rebuilt the expensive parts as reviewable Terraform while keeping the platform running.

  • 90% reduction in network security spend
  • 65%+ reduction in object storage cost through tiering and lifecycle policy
  • €35,000+ in verified annual savings
  • Infrastructure codified in Terraform and Ansible across both clouds
  • AWS
  • Terraform
  • Ansible
  • FinOps

Healthcare

New Zealand

Compliant delivery pipelines for regulated healthcare workloads

Healthcare infrastructure has to be auditable as well as automated. We built the pipelines so that compliance evidence is a by-product of shipping rather than a separate scramble.

  • Azure DevOps CI/CD for enterprise healthcare workloads
  • YAML pipelines and modular Terraform for repeatable environments
  • Security and compliance controls held under a strict regulatory regime
  • Azure
  • Terraform
  • Compliance

Migration to AWS with Kubernetes from a standing start

A full move off legacy hosting: infrastructure designed from scratch in Terraform, applications containerised, and the whole thing handed over with runbooks the team could actually follow.

  • AWS infrastructure designed from scratch in Terraform
  • Applications containerised and deployed onto EKS and AKS
  • Automated deployment, monitoring and backup established
  • Significant reduction in hosting cost post-migration

How we work

Assess, design, build, hand over

Every engagement is built to end well. You keep the code, the accounts and the knowledge - we are not interested in being a dependency.

01

Assess

A short, paid review of the current estate: architecture, delivery process, spend and risk. You get a written findings document whether or not we work together after it.

02

Design

A target architecture and a sequenced migration path, with the trade-offs written down. Decisions are recorded so the reasoning survives staff turnover.

03

Build

Infrastructure as code, pipelines, gates and observability - shipped incrementally against a running system, in your repositories and your cloud accounts.

04

Hand over

Runbooks, dashboards and working sessions with your engineers. We stay on retainer if that is useful, and leave cleanly if it is not.

Common questions

Before you get in touch

We are based in Croatia and work remotely. Past engagements have run across the EU, the United States and New Zealand, so overlapping working hours with distributed teams is routine rather than an exception.

Yes. We have delivered pipelines for healthcare workloads under a strict regulatory regime, and built security automation and compliance checks into delivery for energy and enterprise clients. Tell us which framework applies and we will be direct about fit.

That is the usual arrangement. We embed with your team, work in your repositories and follow your review process. Handover and knowledge transfer are part of the engagement, not an afterthought at the end of it.

No. Everything we build is Infrastructure as Code committed to your repositories, running in your cloud accounts, using standard tooling - Terraform, Kubernetes, and your existing CI platform. There is no proprietary layer to unpick if you take it in-house.

With a short call to establish whether there is a fit, followed by a paid assessment of the current estate. The assessment produces a written findings and options document that is yours regardless of what you decide next.

We are an EU business and operate under the GDPR. Workloads can be kept in EU regions where that is a requirement. This site itself sets no analytics cookies before consent and self-hosts its fonts, so no visitor data leaves it uninvited - details are in the privacy policy.
